120 Grams of Yaba Recovered; One Person Arrested at Naka Point

Agartala, September12,2026: On receipt of information regarding the movement of suspected persons at the Middle Naka Point under Kalamchaura  and Sonamura  Police Stations, naka checking was conducted by the concerned personnel.

During the naka checking, the following persons were detained for verification:

Joynal Hossain, S/O Late Chayeb Ali, resident of Boxanagar, Ward No. 4, under Kalamchaura  PS.

Karnajit Sarkar (36 years), S/O Dipak Sarkar, resident of South Kalamchaura Adarsha Colony, Ward No. 4, under KLC PS.

During the course of checking, 120 grams of suspected Yaba was recovered from Joynal Abdin, S/O Late Sayeb Ali, resident of Boxanagar. Accordingly, he was arrested in connection with the recovery and further legal action was initiated as per law.

The recovered contraband was taken into custody following due procedure, and necessary action is being taken by the concerned Police Station.
