Disaster Management Mock Drill and Training Session Conducted at Muhuripur School

Agartala, September 14, 2026: A disaster management mock drill and training session was conducted by the Disaster Management (DM) Team of 9 TSR at Muhuripur School and the adjoining lake area in South Tripura District. The programme was organized in coordination with the school administration, with active participation from teachers and students. It focused on raising awareness of disaster preparedness, safety measures, evacuation procedures, and appropriate responses during emergencies. Practical demonstrations and mock drills were conducted to familiarize participants with emergency situations and response techniques. The programme enhanced the awareness, preparedness, and confidence of students and teachers in responding to disasters effectively.
