BJP Candidates File Nominations in Festive Rally at Bagafa

Agartala,September 8, 2026: Political activities intensified in tribal areas ahead of the village elections as BJP-nominated candidates filed their nomination papers at Bagafa Block in Tripura’s Shantirbazar subdivision on Tuesday. A procession, joined by party workers and supporters, began from the BJP Mandal office at Shantirbazar and passed through the town before reaching the Bagafa Block office. The candidates submitted their papers to Returning Officer Manoj Pal. Supporters of Tipra Motha and IPFT also participated, creating a festive political atmosphere. MLA Pramod Reang, MDC Kenaram Reang and several leaders of BJP and allied parties attended the programme, witnessing enthusiasm among supporters.
