Block Resource Centre Inaugurated Under SVEP at BMMU Kumarghat

Agartala,27th August,2026: The Block Resource Centre (BRC) under the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) was formally inaugurated at BMMU Kumarghat, Unakoti District. The centre was inaugurated by Shri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, in the  presence of the ADM & Collector, Unakoti District; BDO, Kumarghat RD Block; DMC, DMMU Unakoti; and other officials.

The establishment of the BRC marks a significant milestone in promoting rural entrepreneurship and strengthening livelihoods. The centre will serve as a dedicated platform for Self-Help Group (SHG) entrepreneurs, providing business consultations, capacity-building and skill-development training, mentoring, and comprehensive enterprise support. The initiative aims to foster sustainable businesses, enhance income opportunities, and empower rural communities through entrepreneurship.
