Fr Emmanuel Kallarackal, Former Holy Cross Principal, Passes Away

Agartala, August 30, 2026: The Congregation of Holy Cross, Province of Northeast India, is mourning the death of Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kallarackal, CSC, a respected educator and visionary leader. He passed away in Ireland on August 29, 2026, leaving behind a lasting legacy in Tripura’s education sector.

Fr. Emmanuel began his association with Holy Cross School, Agartala, in 1984, serving as Vice Principal until 1987. He later served as Principal from 1997 to 2003. In 2009, he became the founding Principal of Holy Cross College, Agartala, and guided its development until 2019.

Remembered as a compassionate mentor, he inspired thousands of students and teachers. His contribution to education will remain a lasting legacy in Tripura.
