Meeting Held to Strengthen HIV/AIDS Programme Implementation in West Tripura

Agartala, September1,2026: A meeting was held with the District Magistrate & Collector, West Tripura, to review and strengthen the implementation of the HIV/AIDS programme in the district. Dr. Chinmoyee Das, HOD – CST, SCM & IT, NACO; Dr. Binita Chakma, Project Director, TSACS; Shri Ajit Sahi, Consultant, CST, NACO; and officials from TSACS attended the meeting. Discussions focused on strengthening coordination, improving outreach and awareness, enhancing HIV prevention measures, and ensuring effective support services. The meeting emphasized collaborative efforts among stakeholders for better programme implementation and timely services. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening public health interventions and promoting a healthier, HIV-free Tripura.
