Uber Services to Launch at Two Agartala Railway Stations

Agartala, August 29, 2026: App-based cab service Uber is set to be officially launched on September 3 at Badarghat Railway Station and Jogendranagar Railway Station, alongside Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport. Ahead of the launch, a high-level meeting was held at the state Secretariat to discuss key issues related to the new service. The meeting was chaired by Transport Minister Sri Sushanta Choudhary in the presence of Transport Secretary UK Chakma, Transport Commissioner Subrata Choudhary and other concerned stakeholders. The initiative is expected to provide passengers with convenient, safe and modern transportation facilities. The move reflects Tripura’s continued efforts to strengthen and modernise its transportation infrastructure.
